The PLG Advanced Training Course is an interactive two-day course which provides delegates with practical in-depth analysis and tools for pharmaceutical licensing and business development. The advanced course builds on some of the subjects covered in the PLG Introductory Course, more specifically
- Equity Participation in Deals
- Advanced Financial Analysis Techniques [e.g. options valuation]
- An Alliance Management case study
- Negotiation and Interpersonal Skills
- Analysis of Current Deal Values
- Parallel imports
- Review of Contractual Issues including EU competition law
A key part of the course is panel session where delegates review a number of real-life deals and address how to manage the problems that arose in these case studies. The case studies under discussion include OTC and NCE licensing and technology transfer. The session is conducted by a panel of experienced licensing and business development executives who comment on and discuss the issues raised by the delegates.
There is a maximum class size of ten persons to ensure an effective tutorial ratio.
